  • Make a stop at the Fiji Museum to learn more about the island’s culture and history. Located within the Suva’s Thurston Gardens, this museum is home to exhibits of archaeological artifacts and cultural material which bring life to Fiji’s native inhabitants.

  • Wander through the Suva Municipal Market, a welcoming, colorful street market where you'll find delicious, fresh produce.

  • Attend the South Indian Fire Walking Festival to witness the cultural tradition of devotees bathing in the sea before the renowned fire-walking ritual.

  • Many shops are closed on Sundays, so plan accordingly

  • Temperatures remain relatively constant and pleasant throughout the whole year
